Redevelopment of an existing commercial space into a stunning wellness center in Venice. The existing building was an unreinforced masonry construction which had previously been retrofitted.

The new design featured a large conical skylight that necessitated a complex arrangement of reinforcing beams and hardware to allow for the existing roof truss framing and to reinforce the diaphragm for the opening.

The project also featured the removal and rearrangement of interior non bearing walls and the reinforcing of existing trusses where needed.
