A highly efficient new multifamily development in North Portland, the project makes the most of its site with three stories housing 12 units.
The second- and third-floor cantilever on one side. WPe worked with the architect to configure the floor framing and optimize the shear wall arrangements, whilst allowing for a shifting program that maintains the desired apartment layouts.
Like many of our projects, we utilized WPe’s in-house parametric analysis software to quickly and accurately determine the required wall arrangements at the outset of our involvement. The video below shows how we utilize the architect’s 3D model to directly analyze the building.
