Team
Ben John
The studio is led by Ben John who has over 20 years of experience working as a structural engineer on projects in Europe, the Middle East and throughout North America. He has built a reputation for developing creative solutions to complex and challenging projects with a focus on design and constructability.
Ben is a licensed Professional/Structural Engineer in multiple states as well as a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in the UK.

ALLISON GRIFFITHS
Allison joined WORKPOINT engineering in 2019. She has become a key player in delivering our multifamily and mixed use projects as well as being involved in the design a number of residences. She is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and is a licensed engineer in California. A keen volleyball player, you will normally find her on the beaches of Los Angeles.

JONATHAN CHI
Jonathan is a graduate of Purdue University and joined the company in 2021 having previously gained experience at MKA in Seattle. He has become an integral team member with a focus on some of the office’s biggest commercial projects. When on a video call, you might spot his dog, (sa)Shimi, an honorary member of the WPe staff.
MYONG JIN PAK
Myong Jin (MJ) joined WORKPOINT engineering in 2020 having previously worked at architectural and engineering offices in Los Angeles. He has become a hugely skilled and dependable member of the BIM team and is critical to the delivery of our biggest and most challenging projects. In his spare time, he loves to travel and spend time with his family.
MOHAMED SAUD
Mohamed joined WORKPOINT engineering in 2022 but has already been involved in an array of sports, commercial and multifamily projects. He’s a graduate of the University of Southern California and has previous worked at other engineering companies in Portland, Oregon and his native Libya. He can often be found hiking and kayaking in the countryside around Portland.
